What is required to start service at an existing address?
- Completed Water Service Application
- State or Federal issued Identification
- Proof of ownership or Lease agreement including the name of the person the water is being put in
- Deposit
Steps to have a new service installed at a location that has never had water before
- Obtain the property's physical address issued by the parish.
- Call the Water District office and provide the clerk with:
- Name of the applicant
- Name of the property owner
- Physical address where service is being requested
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- What is being put on the property
- Once the service is approved, the clerk will call to let you know you can make payment and the steps that will follow.
